The 2019 Mazda CX-3 will have the same SKYACTIV®-G 2.0-liter direct-injection gasoline engine as the previous model year. However, the engine has gone through a number of refinements and has been re-tuned to increase torque, improve fuel economy, and reduce internal friction. As a result, the engine will now produce 148 horsepower and 148 pound-feet of torque.
To increase the comfort of drivers and passengers, the 2019 Mazda CX-3 has seen an implementation of new design elements that decrease cabin noise. The new model comes equipped with thicker door panels, thicker rear-door glass, and a thicker headliner.
