2018 Mazda3 Efficiency Specifications and Mileage Ratings
The 2018 Mazda3 is the midsized sedan from Mazda. Built with stunning power and agile performance, as well as an eye-catching design, this model is ready to hit the road. Today, we’re taking a closer look at the 2018 Mazda3 efficiency specifications and mileage ratings to see how this model performs when it comes to gas usage.
The 2018 Mazda3 is equipped with a SKYACTIV®-G 2.0L DOHC 4-cylinder engine with VVT. This engine can produce 155 horsepower and 150 pound-feet of torque. Designed with SKYACTIV-VEHICLE DYNAMICS with G-Vectoring Control, this engine delivers refined handling and powerful performance for a drive that is unlike any other. This engine is mated to a SKYACTIV®-MT or SKYACTIV®-DRIVE transmission. These two transmission options, either manual or automatic, will affect the type of fuel efficiency that the Mazda3 will give you.
The manual transmission, when paired to the SKYACTIV®-G 2.0L DOHC 4-cylinder engine with VVT, will give drivers mileage ratings of 27 city mpg, 37 highway mpg, and 31 combined mpg*. These specifications are very impressive for a sedan of the Mazda3’s size that is equipped with as much power potential as this model will give you.
The automatic version of the transmission, when paired to the SKYACTIV®-G 2.0L DOHC 4-cylinder engine with VVT, will give drivers access to 28 city mpg, 37 highway mpg, and 31 mpg combined*. While not a big difference, the city driving mileage is improved with the automatic transmission. However, both choices will give you incredible efficiency.
